Log on

Go to commbiz.com.au, enter your log on ID and temporary password. To set up your profile:

  • Change your password and enter your email address
  • Set four security questions
  • If you’ve received a security token, select Activate now and follow the prompts. Otherwise, select Next
  • Select Change to choose a log on ID that's easier to remember, or Finish to skip this step.

Set up two-factor authentication

To access certain features in CommBiz, you'll need two factor-authentication like an eToken.

eToken generates a one-time password for you to enter, along with your log on ID and password. You’ll receive an email or an Administrator will let you know if you need eToken.

Before you can download the CommBiz app and activate your eToken, you'll need to verify your identity with us.

  1. Configure the date and time settings on your mobile device to Automatic. You can usually do this by selecting Settings, General, Date and time on iOS and Android phones.
  2. Download the CommBiz app from the App Store (iOS) or Play Store (Android).
  3. Open the app and follow the prompts to register and activate your eToken. You’ll need to enter your four-digit PIN to generate a token password.

If you're not given the option to activate eToken (and haven’t activated eToken on any other device), this means eToken is not set up on your service. You may receive a security token in the mail, or an Administrator can call 13 2339 to set this up.

More about security tokens

To access certain features in CommBiz, you'll need two-factor authentication.

If you're not eligible for eToken, you can use a physical token. This generates a one-time password for you to enter, along with your log on ID and password. To activate your physical token:

  1. Log on to CommBiz and go to My Security Centre on the bottom right
  2. Select Activate token
  3. Enter the 10-digit serial number on the back of your token
  4. Select Activate token

Note: You can either have an eToken or a physical token.

What's a service delegate?

Service delegates can add new accounts or change the electronic account authority – in some cases without completing a form, reducing the turn-around time.

How to nominate

Complete the service delegate maintenance request. You'll need to choose your service delegates, and how many are needed to authorise a maintenance request online.

Consider having more than one Administrator. If the sole Administrator is unavailable or leaves the business, you'll still be able to complete key tasks.
