You'll have access to a wealth of data and be surrounded by expert problem-solvers who turn the unfamiliar into opportunities. Our Advanced Analytics Program is meticulously designed to transform you into a well-rounded Analytics professional with a comprehensive understanding of the business.
As a part of our team, you will uncover the true power of data and its influence on business direction. Throughout the program, you’ll enhance your technical capabilities with analytical tools such as R, SQL, Python, and Teradata. Utilising vast datasets, you will develop and deliver actionable insights that drive meaningful customer outcomes.
Your rotations
Over the course of our 18-month program, you will complete three dynamic rotations. These rotations will immerse you in various functions to broaden your business acumen and Advanced Analytics experience in customer, channel, and product teams such as Everyday Banking, Home Buying, Consumer Finance, Digital, or Wealth & Private. In addition to developing Advanced Analytics skills, during your final rotation you will have the opportunity to broaden your experience within Retail Banking through a specialisation rotation across our numerous Retail Banking teams.
On top of your rotations, you’ll participate in three distinctive Retail Banking Services experiences to enrich the application of your Advanced Analytics problem-solving skills:

Our Program offers extensive professional development opportunities through interactive in-person masterclasses, learning modules, training courses, and group-wide Graduate conferences.
You will explore critical topics such as Emotional Intelligence, Agile methodologies, and stakeholder management. As well as gaining hands-on experience with advanced data management and delivery techniques.
We'll work with you throughout the Program to place you into areas that excite you and align with your personal and professional goals.

Your rotations
Our flexible 12–18-month program offers you a tailored experience over 2-3 rotations where we'll support you in navigating our vast tech ecosystem. You can gain exposure in data science, behavioural science, advanced analytics, quantitative & predictive modelling, AI & machine learning (ML), Large Language Models (LLMs), data engineering, and more.
Your development and experience
Kick-start your learning journey with a bespoke Data Science Essentials Bootcamp & Modelling Project. You will learn technical skills, tools and approaches to Data Science at the bank. You’ll then work on a real business problem while being coached and mentored by practitioners who are known across the industry for their incredible thought leadership and experience.
During your first year, you will be part of a group-wide learning program to build your professional, organisational and leadership skills. You’ll also join a huge network of technology graduates, supported by managers focused on your personal and professional growth.
As you progress your career there are a variety of career paths available including Individual Contributor, Technical Leader and People Leader.
We have roles available in Sydney (Warrang), Melbourne (Naarm) and Adelaide (Tarndanya).
