Whether you want to design security for customer products, build cutting edge security technology, perform security testing, detect and respond to cyber-attacks, provide input into regulatory uplifts or future-proof security for Australia's leading online bank, you’ll find yourself challenged and curious to learn more.
Your rotations
You'll gain access to world-class technical and development resources to help you expand your skills.
Our 12–18-month program offers you a tailored experience over 2-3 rotations. We'll support you in navigating our cyber organisation, where you’ll gain exposure to areas including; Cyber Identity & Protection Management, Cyber Defence Operations & Cyber Governance, Compliance, Resilience & Recovery, amongst the many functions of our Group Security teams.

The possibilities for our tech cohort are ever-expanding. For Engineering this includes Data (ML / AI), Software Engineer (Web / Mobile / Fullstack), Site Reliability and Security.
See yourself working with experience Engineers within Technology at one of Australia’s largest banks. Throughout the program you will gain valuable experience working with teams on the latest technologies as well as get exposure and guidance from various Engineering leaders.
When you apply to the Engineering pathway, you will have flexibility around how your 12 month program will run and which business units you choose to develop your engineering skills in. This could include remaining in one business unit and gaining deeper skills for that area, or rotating between a couple of business units to broaden your experience. You will be led by an Engineering Manager who will support you throughout your program and will have the opportunity to work closely our Distinguished and Chief Engineers.

Your rotations
Our structured program starts in February and runs up to two years.
The program provides a bespoke experience and grants you the autonomy to rotate up to 4 times across different teams to identify the next stage in your career. These rotations will be tailored to your personal career goals and maximise your opportunity for growth.
Your development & experience
From day one, you’ll be doing real work that adds value to our customers while receiving both technical and foundational-skills training. Grow yourself and gain an in-depth understanding of the current banking market while you get meaningful, on-the-job experience.

You’ll either have a relevant university or TAFE qualification with an interest in technology.
