Cyber

Working in one of Australia’s largest and most advanced Cyber Security teams. You’ll join a talented and curious bunch of cyber security professionals who are constantly evolving and innovating to solve the most complex cyber challenges facing the country - at a scale that’s unmatched. Your work will ensure we're responding to the rapidly changing threat to keep our 17 million+ customers and 45,000+ colleagues safe, sound and secure. We’re managing cyber risk today and investing for the future, through intelligent protection, detection, response, recovery and resilience.

Whether you want to detect and respond to cyber-attacks, provide input into regulatory uplifts, respond to data breaches and third party incidents, or future-proof security for Australia's leading online bank, you’ll find yourself challenged and curious to learn more.

Your rotations

You'll gain access to world-class technical and development resources to help you expand your skills.

Our flexible 12-18 month program offers you a tailored experience over 2-3 rotations. We'll support you in navigating our cyber organisation, where you’ll gain exposure to areas including; Cyber Identity & Protection Management, Cyber Defence Operations & Cyber Governance, Compliance, Resilience & Recovery, amongst the many functions of our Group Security teams.

Engineering

Working in a team that's engineering the future of banking. Envisioning new technologies that are still waiting to be invented, reimagining products that support our customers and helping build Australia’s future economy.

We’re the engine room behind Australia’s leading online bank. The team behind Australia’s number one banking app, the Australian-first Cardless Cash, Spend Tracker, Benefits finder and StepPay.

You’re determining how 17 million+ customers access their money. We're building tomorrow’s bank today, which means we need creative and diverse engineers to help us redefine what customers expect from a bank.

Whether you want to create reliable APIs at a unique scale, use the latest tech to solve our customers’ most complex data-centric problems, implement the latest industry-wide methodologies around observability practices or design, develop and build sustainable security services and tooling; you’ll find it all here.

Your rotations

You'll gain exposure to Data Engineering, Software Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Security Engineering, Quality & Test Engineering, and Systems Engineering.

Your rotations

Our structured program starts in February and runs up to two years.

The program provides a bespoke experience and grants you the autonomy to rotate up to 4 times across different teams to identify the next stage in your career. These rotations will be tailored to your personal career goals and maximise your opportunity for growth.

Your development & experience

From day one, you’ll be doing real work that adds value to our customers while receiving both technical and foundational-skills training. Grow yourself and gain an in-depth understanding of the current banking market while you get meaningful, on-the-job experience.

You’ll either have a relevant university or TAFE qualification with an interest in technology.
