Transaction Purposes is a CommBiz function that allows you to add an additional field to your Transaction Groups, which you can use to decide which users will see the transaction details (i.e. a drilldown on specific accounts and amounts). For example, you might create a transaction purpose of ‘Payroll’ and only allow certain users to access these transaction details.
Users who have View and/or Create CommBiz roles will have any new transaction purposes you create enabled on their profile. To limit which transactions a user can view, you'll need to update the user's permissions from View and/or Create to Custom Permissions or a User Defined Role. Learn more about CommBiz roles
