The recently launched CommBank Smart Health solution is an all-in-one health directory, payments and claims solution, designed with powerful data and analytics capabilities.
Healthcare providers have access to real-time reporting and payments data analytics features that will now be expanded to include business and patient care metrics, powered by Cubiko.
These innovative new features will empower general practice managers to set goals and track clinical and financial metrics using insights from a dashboard of detailed, real-time reports on billings, patient cohort, wait times, room, doctor utilisation and more.
CommBank Health Chief Executive Officer Albert Naffah said the new features could enhance patient engagement, helping healthcare practices to provide greater continuity of care and more proactive services.
“By identifying patients most in need, healthcare practices can more effectively respond with additional preventative health and chronic disease services,” Mr Naffah said.
“Combining CommBank Smart Health’s transactional insights with Cubiko’s business reporting and patient care insights into one dashboard enables general practitioners to take a data-driven approach to operational excellence.”
Brisbane-based Cubiko is a pioneering practice intelligence platform used by more than 800 general practices around Australia.
Cubiko Chief Executive Officer Chris Smeed said Cubiko was committed to putting actionable insights into the hands of general practices.
Cubiko was launched by not-for-profit general practice Inala Primary Care in a joint venture partnership with data analytics specialist Aginic in 2019.
“Having worked with a growing number of general practices, we appreciate the competing pressures of delivering patient care and running a business,” Mr Smeed said.
“Partnering with CommBank will provide broader access to accurate, easy-to-understand data to track practice performance.”
