Eftpos update

Due to an eftpos industry wide technical update, some payments made using eftpos via a debit card in a digital wallet may be unsuccessful from 1 January 2025.
Please note only a small number of debit cards in digital wallets are affected and we are communicating with customers who are impacted via the CommBank app and NetBank.
CommBank recommends impacted customers follow these steps prior to 31 December 2024 to avoid any disruption to making eftpos payments.
Credit cards within a digital wallet are not affected and a physical debit card will continue to work as normal.
