Commonwealth Bank has set up a temporary branch for the Springvale community providing banking services and ATMs for our customers to use.
With the Springvale branch unavailable due to fire damage as a result of the incident last Friday, Commonwealth Bank has set up its pop-up branch a block away in the carpark off Warwick Avenue and Lightwood Road.
The branch has many of the same features of a Commonwealth Bank branch including tellers, customer service staff and ATMs for withdrawals and deposits.
Regional General Manager Michelle Winzer thanked the City of Greater Dandenong for their assistance allowing Commonwealth Bank to set-up the pop-up branch in a nearby public carpark.
“We understand how much our branch means to the local Springvale community and we really appreciate the support from the City of Greater Dandenong allowing us to work quickly to set up our pop-up branch,” Ms Winzer said.
“Our pop-up branch will operate normal hours allowing us to continue serving our local customers and small businesses.
“We are deeply saddened by the events at our Springvale branch last Friday. We’re proud to be part of such a vibrant community and we’ve been overwhelmed with messages of support,” Ms Winzer said.
Commonwealth Bank is offering support to all customers and members of public who have been affected by this incident. A dedicated team is available to handle any enquiries and they can be contacted via 13 22 21.
The Springvale pop-up branch will open on Thursday 24 November 2016 and operate normal hours of 9.30am – 4.00pm Monday to Thursday and 9.30am – 5.00pm on Friday.
The branch is located in the public carpark off Warwick Avenue and Lightwood Road, which is a short walk across the road from the existing branch.
