Businesses in Joondalup, the fastest-growing satellite city in the nation, now have access to more services after the first dedicated business banking centre opened last night.
The new Commonwealth Bank business centre was officially opened by City of Joondalup Mayor Troy Pickard.
Ninety local business people and community members gathered for the formal opening.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, John Sgambelluri, CBA’s General Manager for SME Banking in WA said: “It’s an exciting time to be in business in Joondalup, given the very strong growth of the local population and economy. We’re proud to have opened the very first dedicated business banking centre to support local enterprises and entrepreneurs. Our team of business specialists in Joondalup offer a comprehensive range of services to small and medium businesses and corporate customers.
“This new centre shows our commitment to the fast growing northwest corridor of Perth and Western Australian businesses more broadly. Although the resources-related parts of our state economy have slowed, some areas such retail and construction continue to record healthy growth rates [1]. I’m positive about the outlook for Western Australian business.”
The centre features the latest technology such as video conferencing, an iPad NetBank Kiosk and in customer Wi-Fi as well as Instant Cash and Cheque Deposit ATMs and a coin counting machine.
The new combined CommBank branch and business centre is located at the corner of Boas and Mclarty Avenues, Joondalup.
