We believe people have the right to express their views as long as they do so in a peaceful manner in compliance with the law and common standards of courtesy. 

We do not comment on specific customer relationships, existing or past.  However in terms of the proposed Galilee basin, we have not been approached to provide finance for any project.

As a major bank we participate in nearly every sector of the economy, including a growing renewables sector. 

All project financing applications must meet our strict environmental, social and governance standards.  

These take into account a range of factors including stranded asset risk and existing and likely public policy settings as we transition to zero net emissions by 2050.
