Airport Lounge Pass is a benefit available under Mastercard Travel Pass, provided by Dragon Pass, whereby eligible Commonwealth Bank cardholders can receive access to over 1,300 airport lounges worldwide.
You are eligible for 2 complimentary airport lounge passes per calendar year if you are the primary cardholder of an Ultimate Awards Credit Card or a World Debit Mastercard.
Smart Awards and Diamond Awards primary cardholders can get access airport lounges but must pay an airport lounge visit fee each time they visit an airport lounge.
CBA Keycard, Debit, Platinum Debit, Low Rate, Low Fee, Stand Awards, Gold Awards, Platinum Awards and Visa Diamond Awards customers are not eligible and cannot register or pay for lounge access through Mastercard Travel Pass.
Ultimate Awards and World Debit Cardholders
To access the 2 complimentary airport lounge passes, Ultimate Awards and World Debit primary cardholders must register their eligible Ultimate Awards or World Debit Mastercard on the Mastercard Travel Pass app or via mastercardtravelpass.dragonpass.com to generate a membership QR code and present this along with their boarding pass for validation. To register, please enter your personal details including your full name (as on the card), 16-digit card number, expiry date, CVC, and country of issuance (Australia) in the mobile application or the website.
This will set up your account and create a DragonPass membership number. If you have more than one eligible card, you can register each one and receive multiple memberships, all manageable under one DragonPass account with a single email and password.
Smart Awards and Diamond Awards cardholders
To access lounge passes, Smart Awards and Diamond Awards primary cardholders must register their eligible Smart Awards or Diamond Awards credit card on the Mastercard Travel Pass app or mastercardtravelpass.dragonpass.com generate a membership QR code. Each time they visit a lounge they must present this along with their boarding pass for validation and will be charged a lounge visit fee on their registered Smart Awards or Diamond Awards credit card.
Once you have registered on the Mastercard Travel Pass app or via mastercardtravelpass.dragonpass.com, you can select your airport location to find participating lounges in that airport. Following the selection of your lounge, you will see an overview of any costs associated with your visit. If you are eligible for and haven't used either of your 2 complimentary airport lounge passes, it will show as free. If both passes have already been used, applicable charges will be displayed.
As the primary cardholder, you can use one lounge pass to admit one (1) person, either yourself or a guest. Guests must always be accompanied by the primary account holder and cannot use the access on their own. If you bring a guest, you will need to use 2 passes, and pay for the visit if you have already used up your complimentary airport lounge passes.
Ultimate Awards and World Debit primary cardholders receive 2 complimentary airport lounge passes each calendar year per account. Customers with Ultimate Awards, World Debit, Diamond Awards and Smart Awards cards can purchase additional lounge passes for USD 32.00 (subject to change) per visit. During registration and before the lounge visit, your card may be authenticated with a USD 0 authorisation.
The 2 complimentary airport lounge passes for Ultimate Awards and World Debit primary cardholders are refreshed annually on January 1st. Unused passes will expire at 11:59 PM on December 31st each year. Self-purchased lounge passes through Mastercard Travel Pass for Ultimate Awards, World Debit, Smart Awards and Diamond Awards are valid for one year from the purchase date. Lounge visits will be charged to your stored Mastercard payment card at the time of entry.
No. To access a lounge, you will need to create an account by registering via the Mastercard Travel Pass app or mastercardtravelpass.dragonpass.com using your eligible Commonwealth Bank Mastercard.
To find a list of lounges, visit mastercardtravelpass.dragonpass.com or the Mastercard Travel Pass app and select the airport that you will be stopping by using the search field at the top of the ‘Search’ page to find lounges within that airport. You can use the ‘view all’ button and filter options to search through the complete list of participating lounges.
Registration to Mastercard Travel Pass includes entering your eligible Mastercard details and your personal details via the Mastercard Travel Pass app or mastercardtravelpass.dragonpass.com to set up your account and create a DragonPass membership number. Each lounge has its own policies regarding children. Please check the lounge information in the lounge description which can be found within the ‘Mastercard Travel Pass’ app or website at mastercardtravelpass.dragonpass.com. Lounge visits will be charged to your Mastercard payment card which is stored on file at the point of entry into the lounge. The card on file will be the one that is connected to your Mastercard Travel Pass membership.
The primary cardholder can register on the Mastercard Travel Pass app or via mastercardtravelpass.dragonpass.com to complete their digital membership. If the Ultimate Awards, Smart Awards, World Debit or Diamond Awards secondary cardholders wish to visit the lounge, they will need to be a guest of the primary cardholder.
No, the DragonPass Membership ID will have your name on it, and proof of identify (e.g., the members boarding pass, Passport, or other source of ID) will be checked prior to accessing any services.
