    We'll protect you from losses due to unauthorised transactions on personal and business accounts when you take the necessary steps to stay safe online.

    We may notify you if we notice irregular transactions or logins on your account. Ensure you activate location-based security and review your registered devices. Turn on your notifications in the CommBank app to receive alerts.
  • Monitoring of fraud and scams
    Our systems continually watch out for unusual activity on your accounts. If we pick up anything suspicious we may get in touch with you, so make sure your contact details are up to date. We also encourage you to monitor your transactions.

Easily manage your cards on the CommBank app

Support

To be eligible, you need to have access to business accounts or products in the CommBank app. Eligible accounts/products include a business transaction account, merchant terminals or business loans.

You also need to have CommBank app version 5.0 and above on your phone.

To set up your business profile:

  1. Tap on your profile icon on the top left corner of your home screen
  2. Choose ‘Set up business profile’ under Settings (you’ll only see this if you’re eligible)
  3. Choose at least one account to go into your business profile
  4. Choose a name for your business profile

Changes to your business profile in the CommBank app will not affect your business accounts or business contact details.

Once your business profile is set up, you’ll see an arrow next to your profile picture which lets you switch between business and personal profiles with a simple tap.

Yes, you can delete your business profile. Once the business profile is deleted, your business and personal accounts will no longer be separated.

To delete your business profile:

  • Tap on the profile icon on the top left corner of the screen while in your business profile 
  • Select Delete profile
  • Confirm by choosing Delete profile again

You’ll have the option to set up a business profile again if you choose to.

    You’ll need to be an existing business banking customer with the latest version of the CommBank app 5.0 to access new business features.

    Tap & Pay allows you to use your compatible Android mobile phone with the CommBank app to make contactless purchases. Tap & Pay is available for compatible NFC enabled phones running Android 4.4 or above.

    You can add your CommBank Debit Mastercard, CommBank World Debit Mastercard™, personal and business credit cards, and Visa Business Debit card. If you are an additional cardholder, you may add your eligible Commonwealth Bank credit card provided it is Mastercard branded. Visa credit cards issued to additional cardholders may be eligible, however, a transaction limit of $100 will apply.

    Some CommBank cards are ineligible including Keycard, Travel Money Card, Mastercard Business Debit Card, Corporate Card.

    Samsung Pay and Google Pay are free to download however your mobile network provider may charge you for accessing data on your phone. 

    Google Pay is currently available for Android running 5.0 (Lollipop) or higher with a Near Field Communication (NFC) antenna and Host Card Emulation (HCE) support. Full terms and conditions available on the Google Pay app.
