Use your new BSB and account number to make your first transfer in the app or NetBank. You can schedule a future or recurring transfer to deposit extra money into your savings or home loan account on payday, or to make a regular payment to someone's account at another bank.

FAQs

First time payments and some other transfers may be delayed for 24-48 hours for security reasons. Your account balances will update immediately in NetBank after your transfer. 

For international transfers, this can take longer based on the recipient’s country and bank.

You can find your statement in the app or NetBank under your account. 

In the app, go to your account and select Manage, then View Statement. In NetBank, go to your account and select View accounts then Statements.

In the CommBank app:

  1. Log on to the CommBank app, then tap ‘Accounts’
  2. Choose an account
  3. Tap ‘Manage’
  4. Tap ‘View statement’, then choose statement date
  5. Tap ‘Share’
  6. You’ll have the option to email or print your statement
     

In NetBank:

  1. Log on to NetBank
  2. Choose ‘View accounts’, then ‘Statements’
  3. Select the account you want to view statements for
  4. Your latest statements will be displayed. You can also create a transaction summary for a specific date range.
  5. For a single statement, select the statement you want and click ‘Download’
  6. For multiple statements, select all the statements you want and click ‘Download’

Some card transactions show up as pending in your account until they're fully processed. Usually, it takes around 3 to 5 business days, but sometimes it can be up to 10 days or longer. 

When a transaction is pending, the amount is deducted from your available funds, not your account balance. This means you get to see payments or withdrawals in real-time, and you can tell which refunds are still being processed. Instead of waiting up to 10 days to see what you've spent, you can avoid surprises like accidentally overdrawing your account.

Things you should know

  • For security reasons, a hold may apply on first time payments. The delay allows fraud security checks to take place and gives you time to alert us to unauthorised or suspicious activity on your account. Subsequent payments should be received in under a minute.

    CommBank digital card is available on the CommBank app for Debit Mastercard, Platinum Debit Mastercard, World Debit Mastercard, Business Visa Debit Card, and personal and business CommBank credit cards (activated cards only).
