CommBank is proud to partner with the Clown DoctorsTM , helping spark brightness and joy in hospitals across Australia for over 25 years.
Clown Doctors are highly trained, professional performers who spread ‘doses’ of fun and laughter throughout hospitals in both general wards and specialist clinics, working to bring joy to thousands of sick kids, carers and nurses. CommBank is a founding partner of the Clown Doctors, a flagship program of The Humour Foundation.
Over 25 years of partnership, CommBank has supported the expansion of the Clown Doctors program from two hospitals to 21 hospitals and two hospices for children and young adults. Financial contributions from the Bank have enabled the Clown Doctors to deliver over 8,500 ‘Clown Rounds’ and put smiles on the faces of more than one million children, their families, carers and hospital staff.
In partnership with Tour de Cure, Can4Cancer is an employee driven initiative that engages CommBank staff across Australia to participate in walk, run or ride events to raise vital funds to help cure and prevent cancer.
Can4Cancer has grown each year since its inception in 2014 and over the years we have engaged more than 10,000 CommBank employees and over 30 corporate sponsors to raise more than $16.8 million to fund game-changing cancer research, support and prevention projects. Over the years we are proud to have supported breakthroughs in pancreatic and breast cancer research.
