Help & support
Can4Cancer is an employee driven initiative delivered in partnership with Tour de Cure (TdC).
Can4Cancer has grown each year since it started in 2014 and over the years we have engaged more than 10,000 CommBank employees to participate in a ride, run or walk and other fundraising activities to raise over $11 million in vital funds to help cure and prevent cancer.
Tour de Cure is a Tier 1 Australian charity with a mission to cure cancer. Through inspirational cycling tours, they fund the boldest research, the most talented scientists and the pioneering cancer projects that have the greatest potential impact to find a cure for cancer.
Congratulations to the researchers who have received a grant from Can4Cancer. Read about the amazing work they are doing to find a cure.
To select the research projects we fund each year, we work closely with TdC’s Research, Support and Prevention (RSP) Committee, which oversees the peer review of applications for funding. This partnership ensures we deliver on our purpose to change lives and end cancer.
With over 45,000 employees in Australia, many of our people have been personally impacted by cancer. To ensure they have the opportunity to fundraise and advocate for the cancer type that has impacted them and their family, our people are given the opportunity to vote on a shortlist of cancer types to determine the three or four types we will focus on each year.
The RSP Committee then provide us with research projects aligned to the cancer types our people voted for from their panel.
If you have a research project you require funding for, contact the TdC RSP Committee to submit an application.
